Hello everyone. We finally heard from Dr Rodriguez’s, and he said he has Ashley Medicaid approved. He also said that he wants Ashley and Tyler both their on the 1st of Sep. Wow that’s just this coming Thursday.  Once there next is the scans of their bones to be sure they are a match he says that the mother almost always matches. He also said that they will be taken lots of test. Then Tyler’s and Ashley’s surgery will follow soon after. Tyler has been a little better and has attend school every day since they started own the 17th.  Go Tyler! We are still going to try plan a birthday party for him before surgery so he can enjoy it. One of his wonderful friends out there has offered to get him an ipad. He doesn’t know about this yet. I talked with a teacher at school and they said it will really help out with school and other things while he’s sick it’s also thin & light, and won’t be too much for him to have to carry around. God bless you Steven Tyler and our family thinks you are so awesome and we love you, Thank you! Thank you!

OK now I’m going to let you all know what’s going on with me. As you all know I haven’t gotten to go with Tyler in the last three trips to Maryland. I had to send George my husband instead. I hated this I need to be with Tyler and Ashley. Also a lot of you know I sold our fifth wheel camper. I put part of the money in Tyler’s account and I took part and went to get some help for myself. I had gained up to 287 pounds way too much weight. Well I had surgery on the 22nd and I have lost a total of 40 pounds. I lost 32 before the surgery, but I’m OK just real sore. Got a touch of Pneumonia now, but I’m still OK this was a hard decision, but I know that without losing the weight I wasn’t going to be able to help my boy. As I said in the past I would cut off my arm to save Tyler. I paid some on my surgery and will be making payments on the rest. My health was getting really bad, and my blood pressure was high, and I had some abnormal heart stuff that showed up. I will be able soon to get off the blood pressure medication and the sleep apnea machine. I have already dropped the cholesterol medication.

I’m hoping that by the time Tyler has his surgery I will be able to fit on the plane. As you have seen the pictures it’s a small plane but we are so grateful to the children’s flight of hope for transportation there and back. These are some wonderful people

I really think that if I gained any more weight I would have died, so I also want to thank my wonderful Dr. Boru he’s been so nice and kind to me. I have only had to take two pain pills since getting out the hospital. I don’t like taking medication. I want to ask for more prayers for Tyler, myself, and Ashley a lot is coming up and I have decided that it will cost too much for everyone to go so I plan on going with them by myself, leaving daddy’s with the other children. We are hoping both (Tyler and Ashley) will be in the same room Dr Rodriguez’s is trying to arrange this. Please pray I will be able to do this.

I also want to thank my whole family who have been with me and supported me all the way. My grandson Jermey and my granddaughter Tiffany and my daughter Gail and George were all there for the surgery so I have a great support team.

We love you all and thank each of you for your love and support!

Hi everyone. Still waiting on the doctors to get things together for Tyler and moms surgery. This at first was a really good week, after getting more pain medication last week for Tyler. Yesterday was the first day of school and Tyler was able to go with his brother Jayden and cousin Nathan. He was able to stay all day. Then at supper time, Tyler was trying his best to eat. Well, he choked and Ashley really got a scare. He would have choked to death if mom Ashley hadn’t known what to do. Tyler was really scared and was crying. I wonder what may have happened if he had been at school when this happened. Geez, how awful this was. But he’s okay, thank you lord Jesus. It makes me think he’s getting worse. Dr. Rodriguez’s office is trying to get all the plans worked out for Tyler’s surgery because this time both Ashley and Tyler will be in the hospital. We are still asking for donations if anyone is able to help. Donate through pay pal using my email or own tylertucker.Com

Tyler’s dad is still home with them. He lost his job and hasn’t been able to find one. He lives seven miles from anywhere and has no transportation. This far out and no car is bad, and there are no busses running through here, makes it worse. I have to use my car to get appointments and groceries for them. Tyler’s brother is in 5k, was smiles all day he was so excited to go to school. Nathan in k4 did not want to go and screamed all the way down the hall. I wanted to cry for him but didn’t.

We’re thinking about Tyler’s birthday coming up on October the ninth. I want to give him a party before he has his surgery if I can get some help with it, maybe at Chucky Cheese or Getti Town or a chicken wing feast at Little Rebel. We would have to chop things up for Tyler. I hope to be able to make this special for Tyler and his mom. Not sure about this or where the money will come from for this. Tyler asked for an iPad so he can take it to the hospital, but the cheapest one at Wal-Mart is $200.00. We cannot afford this. I know I have asked for a lot on here, but it has helped Tyler and his family so much and we are so grateful to all Tyler’s angels out there.

Our journey is far from being over. It soon will be time for scans at MUSC in Charlton. Tyler still has appointments in Greenville for doctors to watch his jaw, even though they cannot help him in Greenville. Tyler still has to have the rods taken from his leg that was broken in the last surgery. We love you all, and I will update more soon as we know something.

One more thing: A wonderful lady wrote a letter to the Greenville braves trying to get them to do a benefit for Tyler. We haven’t heard from them. Also wrote to the governor of South Carolina Nicki Hailey but haven’t gotten any answers. Going to try calling them. Tyler has suffered for a long time. How much more can his little body stand? He’s so sweet and never complainers even though he knows he may not make it through any of these surgeries. But with my faith and all your prayers Tyler will be ok. I pray and thank God each day Tyler is with us, his little friend Ethan earned his wings and went to heaven.

Hello everyone,

Let me start by saying that Tyler is still having jaw and leg pain. He’s still taking pain medication and still waiting for appointments to be scheduled in Maryland. We did get an email saying that they were trying to get Medicaid to pay in Maryland on Ashley so she can give her leg bone to her son. What a great mom.

They said that they are getting an appointment for Ashley and Tyler to come to Maryland and have tests done to be sure she’s a match. Dr. Rodriguez said that almost all the time the mother is a match. Believe me, I would give him my bone if it was a match. The hospital has to have the Medicaid. Our wonderful Dr. Rodriguez will do his part free. I am going to try get a small room or extended stay if we can, so we can take Jayden and Ethan along.

Nathan and George Richie and I will take turns between sitting with the kids and going to the hospital. I would be sitting in Maryland, worried to death about our babies, if I have to leave them here. I need to know they are taken care of. And our family just doesn’t want to babysit. They all say they are working. And I cannot leave them with strangers. We will be in Maryland a while this time…going to stay until it’s safe to bring both Tyler and Ashley back home.

Please pray that we can find a cheap place in Maryland. I don’t think we can all stay at the Ronald MC Donald house, but I am going to check on it also. Please say a prayer for us all. We have some tough things coming up. Ashley said this was 47 surgeries for Tyler. I thought it would be 46. I guess his mom knows. This is really hard on everyone. We have already been to Maryland six times this year for three jaw surgeries. Please have it in your heart to help Tyler if you can afford to.

Even a dollar will help. So many out there have loved and helped Tyler. You have helped me keep Tyler with us and have kept him knowing that he is so loved.  God has heard our prayers. This is sooo stress full, both financially and emotional.

Tyler has been able to play in his pool lately. Otherwise, he’s just sitting around in the house. We have a little Branch around here and George and Richie have been taking the boys down there to play. We had Tyler’s benefit sale and made a little money to help pay the balance at the hospital, but not enough. The sale did well and we had a lot of people come out. They came and prayed with us.

I will post another update soon as I here from Dr. Rodriguez’s office.

I mailed a letter to our Governor, Nickie Haily, about Tyler and the Greenville Braves. I’m hoping they can come up with a benefit to help Tyler and our family. I sent one to 7 News also, but have not heard anything.  Through all this, I have kept my faith and God has provided our needs…because all of you and Tyler’s Doctor’s care and love Tyler so much. God bless, we love you all. PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE.

Please also pray for Tyler’s little friend, Ethan Josted. I had posted his link earlier. Ethan’s not going to make it. He’s going soon to stay in heaven. Please pray for his family as they sit and wait for Ethan to pass. I haven’t told Tyler that Ethan had the same cancer that he had. We have watched Tyler on his deathbed so many times, but you all prayed and God heard you.
