We took Tyler to Dr. Debrux, a wonderful doctor. He said that he could see where Tyler’s jaw is already having problems, and that’s why it is hurting. He’s calling Dr. Rodriguez. He said that that we need to watch Tyler’s his jaw and let him know of any changes.

Dr. Debrux told Ashley that when they do the next surgery, they would take 20 cm of her fibula and maybe more. That’s a lot! He said Ashley will have to stay in the hospital for a few days and that she will be in a wheel chair for a while.

Tyler will be there a few weeks. He said that Tyler’s surgery would be another long one. This will be at least seven to eight months away, but it will be here before we know it.

Dr. Debrux said that we need to prepare for this. Since Ashley and Tyler will both be in the hospital in Maryland I think it will be best if we try to rent an apartment for a month and just stay until we know they are both okay and just take Richie, the boys and George with us. That way, we can switch out and sit at the hospital while the other is sitting with our kids. I’ll have another yard sale and do what I can to raise money. We really have to keep up hopes that something will work out.

I sure don’t want Tyler to be unable to eat. That would be really bad for Tyler. Please keep praying for Tyler. His journey is still a long one. I remember during the last surgery, Ashley was crying. I asked what was wrong, and she said, “I am so afraid that he will one day go in surgery and not come out. It broke my heart.

I hate to keep asking for help but we cannot do it alone. Tyler has to travel so far and needs so much. Many things Medicaid won’t pay. My goal is to raise $5,000 before the surgery. I have a time, unless TyTy gets worse. This is hard on the whole family.

I am going to ask Dr. Rodriguez what month he wants to do this surgery. Maybe we can get an apartment donated for a month, or someone can help pay the rent for a month. God bless every one that has helped us. You have kept Tyler with us. We love you all and thank you so much.

I know not everyone can afford to donate, but everyone can pray. That’s the most important thing. I know God hears those prayers, because Tyler is still here against all odds.
