As he prepares for more trips and more surgery in Maryland, he has more than his share of pain. He’s not feeling well. He hurts every day. His little face is pulling back to one side. His legs won’t stay on the large bone and he hurts. All the rain is making it worse. He’s used to it, so he complains almost never. He’s taking his pain medication, which helps.

Tyler has to sit at the computer six hours a day trying to do middle school work that he doesn’t know how to do. Ashley says he doesn’t know how to do it and he’s getting so frustrated and mad at himself. I hugged him and told him to just do the best he can. He said it looks like he just cannot do anything. That makes me so sad. He hurts and doesn’t feel like sitting in one place that long, but he must do what’s required. Please say a prayer for him.

Tyler wishes the time for his surgery would get here. He still looks so skinny and hasn’t gained any weight. Ashley and I will be taking Tyler to see Dr. Beckish in Greenville tomorrow. He will check Tyler’s jaw and contact Dr. Rodrigues.

Tyler needs your prayers and donations so he can get to Maryland. God hasn’t let him down in ten years, so I know he will make a way. We love you all and thank each of you. Tyler enjoys the cards, but cannot answer all of them, so we say thank you here. I cannot believe he will be thirteen October 9. My hero is sure a fighter. Thank you all for loving Tyler and being his angels.

God bless, and drop Tyler a card if you have one laying around. He hasn’t gotten but a few lately.
